Our Story

The Career Education Council (CEC) was established in 1990 by the Rotary Club of Guelph with the objective of helping young people learn about and experience the workplace, thereby allowing them to make more informed choices about their future pathway.

Thirty years later, the CEC has continued to evolve and adapt to the changing needs of our youth, our community, and our local employment landscape: serving as a bridge between business, industry, and education.
